Compare like with like
Check the full itinerary, number of travellers, baggage, transfers, room type and what the displayed price includes. A flight-only ticket, a hotel stay and a package holiday are different purchases with different terms. Compare the final amount and restrictions shown by the seller before paying.
Prices and availability are time-sensitive. We will not present an undated quote as a current deal, and a future merchant link will lead to the provider's own live booking terms.
Understand the booking and protection
The UK Civil Aviation Authority explains ATOL protection for applicable flight-inclusive holidays and certain flights. It is separate from travel insurance and does not automatically cover every trip. Check whether the specific booking is protected and identify the ATOL holder before you commit.
The CAA provides a searchable list of ATOL holders. Confirm the name and number against the seller's information, and read the actual cancellation and change conditions for your booking.
Know who is responsible
Check which business will take payment, issue a confirmation and handle support if plans change. For separate travel components, keep the provider terms for each. Travel insurance, if considered, has its own coverage and exclusions to review.
